HOW THE DESIGN PROCESS WORKS
I recommend meeting 6-8 months prior to a wedding or 3 months before a smaller event, such as a bridal shower or birthday party. When we meet, we'll discuss design ideas and budget. Depending on budget, I offer digital (flat) printing, thermography (raised) printing, foil-stamping and letterpress. Even if you don't have an idea of what you want, that's okay too! I have a variety of finished samples to inspire and let the creativity flow.
PROPOSAL AND INVITATION DESIGN
Shortly after meeting, I will send a detailed proposal. If you decide to proceed, you will submit a deposit and the design process begins. Proofs are sent via email and the design is modified with your input. After approval, your invitation is printed and I personally assemble each invitation. If your celebration isn’t for a while, we’ll start this process closer to the event date. Please note that the minimum investment for invitations is $300.
Invitations are ready approximately one month prior to mailing. Or, you can have me take care of stuffing the envelopes and mailing for you! My invitations always include guest addressing on the mailing envelopes. Want the invitations earlier? Just ask.
